As part of the Kyrgyz delegation in London, representatives of the business community accompanied the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic (CCI KR), Temir Sariyev, on a working visit to the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which was founded in 1881 and is the largest independent organization in the capital that works on establishing connections and supporting businesses. The parties discussed further cooperation, and the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry expressed its readiness to discuss a wider range of issues related to working with businesses and attracting investments from Kyrgyzstan.
Temir Sariyev also met with the management of Sun Mark, a company that specializes in marketing and distributing fast-moving consumer goods. The company was founded in 1995 and is based in Greenford, a district of London's Ealing borough. It sells a wide range of products under its own brand names and exports to more than 130 countries worldwide. The parties discussed possible cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
In addition, the President of the CCI KR met with the leadership of the Export and International Trade Institute on digital corridors. They discussed the creation of pilot projects for the implementation of digital trade corridors, which, according to experts, will help support the economies of countries and significantly improve trade and investment relations between states.
