Main » News » News of CCI KR » Head of the Kyrgyz Republic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Temir Sariyev, participated in a meeting of the Interstate Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in Moscow.


The meeting began with welcoming remarks from the Deputy Secretary-General of the CIS, I. Nematov, and the CEO of VDNKh, S. Shogurov. Then, Sariyev delivered a speech and noted that VDNKh has been a place of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between the CIS states for many years.

During the meeting, the participants summarized last year's activities and agreed on plans for future work and a list of exhibitions to be held with the assistance of the Interstate Council in 2023. Special attention was given to the progress of the establishment of exhibition and trade centers in national pavilions on the VDNKh premises and their prospects for functioning.

Sariyev expressed his support and readiness to contribute to the development of exhibition, fair, and congress activities between the CIS countries. He also emphasized the importance of the opening of the Kyrgyzstan national pavilion at VDNKh, which will help attract investments and promote cooperation among countries.

Various economic cooperation issues between the participating countries were discussed at the meeting of the CIS Interstate Council. Sariyev expressed his willingness to actively contribute to the development of international cooperation in the fields of scientific, technical, and innovative development, trade, transportation, tourism, and other economic sectors. The importance of economic cooperation between the CIS countries and the role of the Kyrgyz Republic Chamber of Commerce and Industry in developing trade and economic ties were also highlighted. Overall, Sariyev's visit to VDNKh and his participation in the meeting were successful in promoting the economic cooperation and trade between the CIS countries.
