The Ambassador made a special trip to Kyrgyzstan to improve economic relations between the two countries. The Republic of Benin, being an agrarian state, can export its products such as bananas, pineapples, cashews, and cotton to the countries of Central Asia. The Ambassador expressed confidence that economic relations between the two countries could be quite productive. The Republic of Benin, with a population of around 10 million, is interested in developing business relationships with Kyrgyzstan and other countries in the region.
